Chiara Biddle is a sister that is deeply involved in
many different organizations on

campus. She serves as the Vice President of Membership Development for the Panhellenic Association, is the Sweetheart of Alpha Tau Omega, and the Senior Editor for Ball State’s chapter of Her Campus, which she co-founded with one another sister and has a research fellowship with one of her fashion professors. She has also been very involved with Student Government during her time at Ball State and was recently elected to be Vice President of the student body for the 2021-2022 school year! When asked about what lead her to Ball State, Chiara said "Ball State was the obvious choice for me when I started looking at colleges. It seemed so great on paper and after my first campus visit, I knew I had found my home. I chose my major in Fashion Merchandising because the one thing about m
e that has never changed is my love for all things fashion related. I have minors in Marketing, French, and Sustainability. I chose this combination because fashion and environmental sustainability are my 2 greatest passions. I hope to be one of the leaders that helps make the fashion industry completely sustainable." AOII has also been a large part of Chiara's college experience. "AOII has pushed me to grow in so many ways. I will always be grateful for the incredible connection I found within AOII when I first started college." She said. "This organization gave me the opportunity to be part of something so much bigger than myself and helped me find my place on campus. I am constantly inspired, encouraged, and impressed by the women I’ve met through AOII."
Chiara's favorite memory within AOII is Bid Day! "Both this year and last year, there is so much love and excitement in the air on Bid Day, it’s such a special feeling that I always cherish." She said. "Running home to AOII is something I’ll never forget and I loved welcoming home all of our new members this fall."
