Hannah Myers, a Junior who is a part of PC’17, is an academic queen. An Exercise Science major at Ball State University, her minors include Pre PA, double minor in Gerontology, and a minor in American Sign Language. Hannah is a licensed CNA and a nationally certified phlebotomy technician. Working with the elderly has motivated her to help people, which she described is her main goal in life. She believes that being a medical professional gives her the avenue to reach her ultimate goal of service. Hannah said that if she could have any dream job, it would be becoming a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Basically, she expressed to me that she would love to just be Christina Yang. She is fascinated with the human body and the knowledge we have and lack thereof. Working in sports would be another dream profession she would love to pursue.

Despite her vigorous academic schedule, Hannah does not just limit herself to her academics. Hannah is the Song Leader of AOII, a swim coach, volleyball coach, volleyball official, and is extensive in her volunteerism throughout the community. She really loves to help people. Seeing others happy and helping them accomplish their goals makes her day.

Hannah loves Netflix. Her favorite shows are The Vampire Diaries, The Office, and Greys Anatomy. She is obsessed with medical shows. In her free time, Hannah said, “I lay in my bed and watch Tik Toks.” She loves to sing and really loves spending time with others and being active. When she is not out and about, she loves to decompress in bed, play with makeup, and do face masks.

Hannah currently is obsessing over sweet potatoes. She is really enjoying living a healthier lifestyle. She explained she wasn’t as healthy as she wanted to be before, so now, especially living on her own, she has the opportunity to explore a healthier lifestyle through being active and practicing good eating habits.

I had asked Hannah if there was anything she wanted others to know about her. She explained, “I’m a really good friend. I really care about people. I put my heart out there.” If you see Kappa Kappa sister Hannah, don’t be afraid to approach the busy queen. She would love to talk with you!
