What Does 'Inspire Ambition' Mean to You?

Ever since headquarters released the new brand 'Inspire Ambition' for Alpha Omicron Pi, I have been thinking about what these words really means to me and how I live out the values of our sisterhood.

On our fraternity website, it says that our brand is an identity that "will aim to tell the story of Alpha Omicron Pi and shape the perception of who an Alpha Omicron Pi member is and who she will be in the future."

I think it is very important that we have such direction; something to guide our sisterhood.

To me, when I think of this slogan, I first think of the words separately. Inspire- to fill someone with the desire to do something- and ambition- a desire to achieve something, usually that which requires hard work or determination. Together, 'Inspire Ambition,' to me, means inspiring others to be their best selves and pushing them to work towards their goals and aspirations.

I also think that this new brand goes along with our core values of character and dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty. I think of our sisterhood and all of us inspiring our fellow sisters to be the best versions of themselves, personally and academically, and being ambitious and passionate.
